Bug reports from real visitors

A website bug reporting tool your visitors actually use

Your visitors run into bugs you never see. A small button lets them report one in a sentence, and it reaches you with a screenshot, the console errors, the failed requests, the page and the browser.

What you receive

Every bug report arrives with its evidence

  • A screenshot

On a computer, one click captures what the visitor was looking at, without the widget in the picture. On a phone, they attach a screenshot taken with the phone.

  • The console errors

The last 25 errors and warnings the page logged, uncaught exceptions and rejected promises included. Recording starts when the page loads, so the error from two minutes earlier is there too.

  • Failed requests and broken files

The last 15 calls that failed, such as a 500 from your API or a network error, and any image, script or stylesheet that didn't load.

  • The page

The address they were on when it broke, so you know which product, record or step to open.

  • Browser, screen and load time

“Safari on iOS” in plain words, the window size, the language, how long the page took to load and the connection it loaded over.

  • Who sent it, when that helps

An optional email field, so you can write back. In a logged-in app, one line of code passes the person's name, email and plan.

For your visitors

One sentence, no account, no extension

  1. 01They click the button

A small button on your page, in your colour. Nothing pops up on its own.

  2. 02They say what went wrong

They pick “Report a bug”, write a sentence and add a screenshot if they want to, in their own language.

  3. 03You read it

In your inbox, with a daily email on the free plan. Instant email, Slack or Discord on Pro.

On a live site

A guest on your page

  • It can't slow your site down

Under 17 kB gzipped, loaded after your page. The screenshot code is only downloaded when a visitor asks for a screenshot.

  • Nothing is sent until a visitor reports

Errors are noted in the visitor's browser and only leave it with a bug report they choose to send. Two Cents doesn't monitor your site.

  • Nothing for your cookie banner

No cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting. Messages and screenshots are stored in France.

One script tag

One line to paste. That's the install.

<script src="https://twocentsbox.com/twocents.js" data-twocents="pk_your_key" defer></script>

It works wherever you can add a script tag: Next.js, React, Vue, WordPress, Shopify or plain HTML. Any stack, no SDK, no build step — and questions live in the dashboard, so changing one never needs a deploy.

Questions

Before you install it

Is it free?

For one site, yes: 25 messages a month, every month, with screenshots and console errors included. No card needed.

Which errors does it capture?

console.error and console.warn, uncaught exceptions and unhandled promise rejections, plus failed requests and files that didn't load. They're attached to bug reports only.

Does it read my visitors' requests?

Only the ones that failed, and only their method, status, duration and address, without the query string. Request and response bodies and headers are never read.

Can visitors add a screenshot on a phone?

Yes. Phone browsers can't capture a page, so the visitor attaches a screenshot taken with the phone. It's scaled down before sending, which also removes its location data.

Do visitors need an account or a browser extension?

No. They click the button on your page and write. The email field is optional, and you can switch it off.

Does it work with WordPress, Shopify, React or Next.js?

Yes. It's one script tag, so it works anywhere you can add one: in your theme on WordPress or Shopify, with next/script in Next.js, in index.html for React or Vue.

Does it create tickets in an issue tracker?

No. Reports stay in your inbox, where you mark each one done, planned or closed. On Pro they can also post to Slack or Discord, and everything exports as CSV or JSON.

Is it only for bugs?

No. Visitors can also send ideas, questions and reviews, and answer questions you ask on specific pages. Everything arrives in the same inbox.

Your users have something to tell you.

Give them a way to say it.
